**A Rude Woman Claimed She Was Best Friends With the Restaurant Owner—She Had No Idea I Was the Owner Serving Her**

My family has owned our restaurant for generations, but I still enjoy working as a waiter.

One busy Friday night, six women arrived without reservations.

Their leader, Meghan, demanded a VIP table.

“The owner is my close friend,” she announced. “He always makes exceptions for me.”

When I explained we were fully booked, she laughed.

“Take his picture, girls! He’ll be fired tomorrow!”

Instead of revealing my identity, I smiled and offered them our VIP section with three complimentary rounds of drinks.

They ordered expensive champagne, caviar, Wagyu beef, and oysters without asking about prices.

Throughout dinner, they mocked the staff and snapped their fingers whenever they needed something.

At midnight, I presented their bill.

**$4,320.**

Meghan turned pale.

“This is outrageous! My friend owns this place. He’ll have you fired!”

I calmly asked for his name.

She couldn’t answer.

Then I pulled out my business card.

**”I’m Peter. I’m the owner. And I’ve never met you before.”**

Her mouth fell open.

“But you’ve been serving us all night!”

“Because no job is beneath me,” I replied.

After protesting, they finally paid.

As they walked out, I smiled.

**”Next time you pretend to know the owner, make sure he isn’t the one serving your dinner.”**
