**After Years of Trying, I Finally Got Pregnant—But My Husband Left Me a Kinder Surprise With a Divorce Note Inside**

After years of heartbreak, I finally saw two pink lines on my pregnancy test.

I immediately texted my husband, Clay, expecting him to celebrate.

But he never answered.

The next morning, I found a Kinder Surprise outside our door. Inside was a note:

**”I’m divorcing you.”**

I was devastated.

When my mother-in-law, Margaret, learned I was pregnant, she accused me of cheating.

“Clay is infertile!” she snapped.

Two weeks earlier, I’d blacked out after eating chocolate containing alcohol. A stranger named George had helped me, but I couldn’t remember everything.

When Clay returned, he demanded I leave.

Then Margaret admitted **she’d planted the divorce note herself.**

Desperate for answers, I contacted George. He explained I’d simply slept on his couch. Nothing had happened.

Still confused, I visited our family doctor.

What she revealed changed everything.

**Clay wasn’t infertile. He was perfectly capable of having children.**

The lie had destroyed our marriage.

I filed for divorce, and George supported me throughout the difficult months.

Six months later, he proposed.

When my daughter was born, George stood beside me, holding my hand.

I’d lost the marriage I thought would last forever, but found someone who truly cared.
