That noise is driving me crazy.\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"851\" data-end=\"973\">The blind man stopped and calmly replied,<br data-start=\"892\" data-end=\"895\" \/>\u201cIf <em data-start=\"899\" data-end=\"904\">you<\/em> had put rubber on the end of <em data-start=\"934\" data-end=\"940\">your<\/em> stick, we\u2019d both be on the bus.\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"975\" data-end=\"1017\">The husband froze\u2014then burst out laughing.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1019\" data-end=\"1265\">As they walked, the blind man spoke gently about carrying heavy burdens and trusting the path even when you can\u2019t see it. The husband began noticing the warmth of the sun, distant laughter, the smell of fresh bread\u2014things he\u2019d rushed past before.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1267\" data-end=\"1362\">At the next stop, the bus returned with two open seats.
