He\u2019d been found unconscious at a train station. Severe dehydration. No food for days.<\/p>\n<p>At the hospital, he looked nothing like the boy I raised. When he whispered, \u201cYou don\u2019t have to be here,\u201d my heart broke.<\/p>\n<p>He told me he had been trying. Interviews. Rejections. Silence.
