Louis Newman, a wealthy businessman, was furious when a mother of three was seated next to him in business class.<\/p>\n

The stewardess refused. The woman, Debbie Brown, offered to switch seats, but the hostess insisted she stay. She had paid for the ticket and deserved to be there.<\/p>\n
Louis slipped on his AirPods and ignored her.<\/p>\n
When the plane took off, Debbie\u2019s kids laughed with excitement. Other passengers smiled. Louis scowled.<\/p>\n

\u201cMay I ask what line of work you\u2019re in?\u201d she asked. \u201cI noticed your fabric designs.\u201d<\/p>\n
Louis hesitated, then answered. \u201cLuxury fashion manufacturing.\u201d<\/p>\n
Debbie smiled. \u201cThat\u2019s wonderful. I actually founded one of the fastest-growing ethical clothing brands in Europe.\u201d<\/p>\n
Louis blinked.<\/p>\n
Before he could respond, the pilot\u2019s voice came over the intercom.<\/p>\n
\u201cLadies and gentlemen, we\u2019d like to welcome Mrs. Debbie Brown, founder of Brown & Co. Fashion, on board today. It\u2019s an honor to have you flying with us.\u201d<\/p>\n
The cabin erupted in applause.<\/p>\n
Louis sat frozen.<\/p>\n
