He\u2019d nod politely to me, read her fantasy novels, and quietly talk about his day\u2014while I had no idea who he was or why he was there.<\/p>\n

My daughter, Hannah, had been hit by a drunk driver on her way home from work. Since then, Room 223 had become my whole world.<\/p>\n
