My MIL Gave My Daughter a Phone After I Said No – A Week Later, I Heard Her Voice from My Daughter’s Bedroom at Midnight

My ten-year-old daughter, Maisie, had started hiding her new phone whenever I entered the room.

Then one night, I heard my mother-in-law Lorraine’s voice coming from her bedroom.

“Your mom doesn’t have to know yet.”

The phone was the same one I had specifically told Lorraine not to buy her.

When I checked the messages, I discovered something much worse.

Lorraine had been telling Maisie that maybe she had the “wrong mom,” that I was too controlling, and that another woman named Paige understood children better.

She even told Maisie to delete messages and keep their conversations secret from us.
