A Man Saved His Other Woman as ‘Mom’ in His Phone, and His Wife Even Brought Him the Phone Whenever ‘Mom’ Called – When His Wife Learned the Truth, She Decided to Play a Game of Her Own

For two months, my husband Caleb kept receiving calls from “Mom,” sometimes after midnight. I never questioned it—until a message appeared on his phone:

“I still have that red lace you liked. Call me when she’s asleep.”

His actual mother, Margaret, was seventy.

I called her, and she confirmed she hadn’t been calling.

So I invited Margaret over and asked her to wait in the kitchen before Caleb came home.

When he arrived, I casually mentioned his mother’s constant calls. He insisted she needed his help.

Then Margaret stepped into the room.

Caleb froze.

At that exact moment, his phone rang. The screen read MOM.

Margaret stared. “Why does your phone say I’m calling when I’m standing here?”

I answered on speaker.

“Hey, you,” a woman whispered. “Are you finally alone?”

I recognized the voice instantly.

Natalie. My closest friend.

She’d eaten at our table and played with our three children.

Caleb admitted the affair, then blamed Natalie. But she revealed he’d told her I would never leave because of our children.

I asked Caleb to leave. He begged his mother to defend him.

Instead, Margaret said, “You made your choices. She gets to make hers.”

I blocked Natalie.

And that night, my mother-in-law stayed beside me, holding my hand.
