A Man’s Other Woman Came to His Wife to Return His Things Because She Was Done with Him – But the Next Day, He Rushed Home Screaming, ‘How Could You Do This to Me?!’

For twelve years, I thought Phillip and I had a happy marriage. We had two children and were planning our anniversary dinner. Then a stranger showed up at my door carrying his suitcase.
Her name was Zelda. She told me she’d been dating my husband for almost a year. Phillip had claimed we were separated and only living together for the kids. Her photos and messages proved everything.
That evening, Phillip came home, kissed me, and acted normal.
I called his mother, Debbie, to cancel our anniversary celebration. That’s when I discovered Phillip had been telling her our marriage was falling apart—and blaming me.
The next day, he stormed home, furious that I’d told his mother.
“How could you embarrass me?” he demanded.
I asked how he could lie to two women and his family.
He blamed loneliness, claimed Zelda misunderstood, and begged me to forgive him. But he admitted he’d never intended to leave me, despite promising Zelda otherwise.
On our anniversary, he brought flowers and suggested dinner as though nothing had happened.
I told him I needed space. He moved in with his mother while I started counseling.
I still loved Phillip, but trust was gone.
Every anniversary, I’d written him a card. This year, I left mine unfinished. I finally understood I didn’t have to finish it.
