A Woman Banished the Groom’s Elderly Grandmother to the Staff Table – But the Granddaughter’s Revenge Made the Bride Scream, ‘You Can’t Do That!’

**My Son’s 76-Year-Old Grandmother Was Humiliated at His Wedding — Then My 15-Year-Old Daughter Did Something Nobody Expected**

I was thrilled to watch my son Daniel marry Jenna, until I found my 76-year-old mother sitting beside the kitchen with the catering staff.

“There’s been a change,” Jenna’s mother, Patricia, explained.

Mom had helped raise Daniel while I worked nights. She deserved better.

My daughter Lucy noticed Grandma’s name had disappeared from the seating chart.

The wedding coordinator revealed that Patricia had given Mom’s seat at the family table to Jenna’s wealthy aunt, who had helped pay for the reception.

When I confronted Jenna, she admitted knowing about it.

“Your family is so easygoing,” she said. “I thought you’d understand.”

She refused to fix it before dinner.

I didn’t want to ruin Daniel’s wedding, but Lucy, just 15, walked straight to her brother and whispered what had happened.

Daniel immediately demanded Grandma’s seat back.

Jenna protested, insisting her aunt had contributed too much money to be moved.

Then something unexpected happened.

The aunt stood up, shocked. Nobody had told her whose seat she’d taken!

“Of course I’ll move,” she said.

Daniel personally escorted Grandma to her rightful place and apologized.

Jenna sat silently while my son kissed his grandmother’s cheek.

And I realized my teenage daughter had shown more respect than the adults who planned the wedding.
