My Ex Came to Take Our Kids’ Toys for His Mistress’s Child – But Karma Didn’t Take Long to Retaliate

I thought the worst part of my divorce was over.

Then my ex-husband walked into my house with an empty gym bag and headed straight for our kids’ bedroom.

Jake had already taken everything in court — forks, towels, even bedsheets. I was done fighting. I just focused on building a peaceful home for Oliver, 5, and Mia, 3.

That Saturday we were making pancakes when he knocked.

“I left some things,” he said.

What he meant was the toys.

He started stuffing dinosaurs, Legos, Mia’s dollhouse into his bag. “I paid for them,” he shrugged. “Why buy new ones for my girlfriend’s son?”

My babies cried and begged. He didn’t even look at them.

Something in me broke. I threatened to call the police.

And then karma walked out of the hallway.

His mother.

She had seen everything.

“The moment you gave those gifts, they became your children’s,” she said, shaking with anger. “Try to take from them again and you’re out of my life.”

Then she delivered the final blow:

“I’m cutting you out of my will. Everything goes to Oliver and Mia.”

Jake went white. Dropped the bag. Left.

Weeks later, his girlfriend dumped him once she realized the money was gone.

He came back with flowers.

My kids hid behind me.

I closed the door.

Because family doesn’t steal from children.

And karma already handled the rest.
