When I was about 6 years old, my entire family was gathered around the dinner table one night.
Out of nowhere, I loudly announced:
“Grandma! Should I tell everyone what you and Grandpa do when you’re alone in your room?”
The whole table went DEAD silent.
Grandma froze mid-bite.
Grandpa nearly dropped his fork.
My parents looked ready to disappear into the floor.
Then, after building maximum suspense, I proudly yelled:
“She makes Grandpa fold the laundry!”
The entire room exploded with laughter.
Grandma covered her face in embarrassment while Grandpa just sighed and said:
“She’s not wrong.”
To this day, it’s still one of the funniest moments our family has ever had.
