My Sister Said My Teenage Daughter Ruined Every Vacation Photo – One Sentence from My Youngest Son Made Her Run Out of My House
My 16-year-old daughter Nora was born with noticeable birthmarks across her arms, legs, and shoulder. For years, she hid them under long sleeves because of cruel comments from other kids.
During a family vacation, she finally found the courage to wear a swimsuit without covering herself.
I was proud of her.
But my sister Vanessa wasn’t.
She kept positioning Nora behind people in photos, criticizing what she wore, and even cropping her out of pictures. Nora eventually admitted Vanessa had been doing this for years.
I confronted my sister and told her to stop.
Instead, days later at a family dinner, Vanessa showed everyone a beach photo of Nora and complained that her birthmarks ruined the pictures.
Nora burst into tears.
