After more than 35 years, Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos say goodbye to the live studio
On April 1, 2025, Live with Kelly and Mark filmed its final episode at its Upper West Side studio at 7 Lincoln Square, its home for 37 years, before relocating to 7 Hudson Square, the Walt Disney Company’s renovated NYC headquarters. The studio, iconic since Regis Philbin and Kathie Lee Gifford hosted, has deep sentimental value for Kelly Ripa, a host since 2001, and Mark Consuelos, who joined in April 2023. The couple, both 54, shared with PEOPLE that their three children—Michael (27), Lola (23), and Joaquin (22)—grew up visiting the studio. Ripa noted the show’s schedule allowed her to balance motherhood and work, a rarity she cherishes. The studio also holds personal significance, as it reunited Ripa and Consuelos in 1996 during a Mother’s Day segment, sparking their romance and leading to their marriage. Live is among the last ABC shows, following The View and The Tamron Hall Show, to move to the new Robert A. Iger Building, with Good Morning America set to follow by year’s end.
