A travel agent was sitting at his desk

A travel agent noticed an elderly couple outside his shop, gazing longingly at dream vacation posters. They looked sweet, a little heartbroken. Feeling generous after a good week, he rushed out.
“Listen,” he said, “I know travel isn’t easy on a pension, but I want to treat you both to a luxury vacation—my treat. No strings.”
Shocked but thrilled, they accepted. He had his assistant book plane tickets and a five-star resort.
A month later, the little lady returned, smiling. “How was the trip?” he asked.
“Oh, lovely! The flight, the hotel—it was a dream. I came to thank you… but I have one question.”
The agent raised an eyebrow.
“Who was that old man I had to share the room with?” she whispered.
LOL! They had shared everything in life—except one secret. Edna had a shoebox she told Harold never to open. Decades later, when she grew gravely ill, Harold asked, “May I see it before you go?”
Inside were two crocheted dolls—and $95,000.
“Edna, what is this?”
“Before we married, my grandmother told me to crochet a doll every time I got mad at you,” she explained.
Harold’s eyes filled with tears. Only two dolls in sixty years.
“And the money?” he asked.
“Oh,” Edna smiled, “that’s from selling all the others.”
