Hollywood star Sharon Stone is mourning another heartbreaking loss after announcing that her older brother, Michael “Mike” Stone, has passed away at the age of 74 following an extended illness.
Sharing the emotional news on Instagram, Sharon wrote, “Mike Stone, my oldest brother, has passed away,” marking yet another painful chapter for the Stone family. While Mike largely stayed out of the spotlight, he briefly followed his sister into acting, appearing in films including End of the Night and The Quick and the Dead alongside Sharon.
The family has faced several devastating tragedies in recent years. Sharon’s younger brother, Patrick Stone, died in 2023 after suffering a heart attack, less than two years after the death of his 11-month-old son, River. Their father, Joseph Stone, passed away in 2009, while their mother, Dorothy Stone, died last year at 91.
Known worldwide for iconic films like Basic Instinct, Casino, and Total Recall, Sharon has often spoken about the importance of family and the deep bond shared between the Stone siblings.
